John,
I find it disturbing you claim title to the legacy of John Galt when you clearly hold views antithetical to the teachings of Ms. Rand.

If one is to hold the hard line ideologically, you should not encourage people to vote or participate in any way in the "group think" of participatory democracy. All means of group decision making can be summed up by the analogy "Democracy is two wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for dinner."

Further, you refer to the nebulous concept of "campaign reform." I am disappointed that you did not elaborate. 99% of those who hark the call of campaign reform seek abolition of free speech and free association rights. I can only conclude you believe the same.

Lastly, you present your own blueprint for economic reform. Admirable as this attempt is (at least you show concern), you fail to acknowledge the fundamental inequity of any system of involuntary taxation (theft) as a means of financing societal goals.

I am sorry you have spent so much time, energy and resources creating a web site which is so lacking. Al

John Galt Jr. is living fifty years later than "John Galt" First I must point out that Atlas Shrugged is fiction and satire ...
I could create a perfect world on paper... I always thought that the main point, was that each man would pull his own weight.
If today's politics applied to those whimsical writings, then the feds would of hunted down John
and all his co-conspirators and had them locked away because of their dangerous ideas. Do
Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Freedmans, Republic of Texas, Rainbow Farm, etc mean anything to you?

Aren't gangs just really separatists that have been crowded into a space to small to stand in; because the earth is running out of free space?
Are they not creating their own rules, and lifestyle choices?

The group Rush has a song called freewill in which appears the line "If you choose not to choose you still have made a choice"

That choice is to let those others who have no concern for you or your beliefs tell you what to do..

When Ayn wrote Atlas shrugged life was a bit different. You were allowed to go off and establish a "world of your own" Today's separatists are often hunted down and executed or locked up..
Because the earth is running out of free space.
Because we live in a democracy we have to vote !!! In Walden II they decided to vote as a
group in order to effect changes in government. I feel that this is much wiser in these modern
times..
Also you say

You can conclude what ever you want, it doesn't mean it's true or makes sense. Free speech is the basis for everything I do...
My feelings on campaign reform are there you just didn't find them to quote Ralph Nadar
" A growing and grave imbalance between the often converging power
of Big Business, Big Government and the citizens of this country has
seriously damaged our democracy and weakened our ability to correct this
imbalance." and from the "Concord Principles"
(a) a binding none-of-the-above option on the ballot;
(b) term limitations, 12 years and out;
(c) public financing of campaigns through well-promoted voluntary
taxpayer checkoffs on tax returns;
(d) easier voter registration and ballot access rules;
(e) state-level binding initiative, referendum, and recall authority, a
non-binding national referendum procedure; and
(f) a repeal of the runaway White House/Congressional Pay Raises back to
1988 levels -- a necessary dose of humility to the politicians.

My belief is that the corporate infrastructure has taken over politics in this country and that most of the laws are slanted to give those huge corporations more power over the course of the
individual citizens than they have over themselves.
Corporate contributions should be limited or better yet eliminated.

I do believe in free speech that is why I maintain this site !!! because I have free speech. I believe any one should be able to say anything they want. Spending millions of dollars splashing pictures of candidates and slimming rivals is not speech it is advertising...
I believe that Campaigning on TV should be limited to Debates only
I believe that an honest Campaign doesn't need to spend any money other than travel expenses to get the candidate to the people!

Lastly,you say;
You present your own blueprint for economic reform. Admirable as this attempt is (at least you
show concern), you fail to acknowledge the fundamental inequity of any system of involuntary
taxation (theft) as a means of financing societal goals.
Before you can get rid of taxation you have to decide if you need to have a government...
I mean in theory a governing body can operate as a profitable or break even business ideally that is what a communist government is supposed to be... But I hear Russia has taxes too...
but if you think about it wouldn't that work even better for a Capitalist economy?
Why wouldn't it?
Because in order to be efficient you would have to completely compartmentalize and make each compartment self supporting and answerable to those it serves.. Recreating the very definition of what small business should be in a capitalist economy.
and there by prove that government is not needed in a capitalist economy...
But the fact exists that we do have a government and we can't snap our fingers and make it disappear. (There's that perfect world I was talking about)
So why don't we go ahead and tread very dangerous waters and address a new world economics, after all Capitalism , Socialism, Communism, and all the other ism's are just theories devised by men. Essentially economics are games with rules to play by... Not a single one has ever ever been perfected to the point of matching those theories !!!
So hears is a theory for you; .
Our Socialist government tries to pass itself off as being an asset to a Capitalist economy and in doing so has proven that a healthy economy can sustain a long term drain on its resources without serious inflation... Because the true value of money lies in belief and agreement that the currency involved has an implied value.

So if we could freeze federal government spending at a realistic level. Then the government could just print and spend it's prorated share of the economy. Without any taxes, collections or financial transactions occurring. It would put a lot of those bureaucrats out of work, come to think of it the same thing should work at a state level...
I do believe that I do acknowledge the theft of earned income by the government in several places in more conventional thinking.. How ever I fail to see how not voting will change any of these real-isms at all....

I am sorry you don't see the merits of my site... I have received over a thousand letters in the past year. less than ten were derogatory... Seems the rest of the people enjoyed my site.... A web site can't possibly cover every interest of every person, however my site is growing
continuously until I use up my allotted spaces...and I have a long way to go. Lastly to you I say where are your ideas? It's much easier to put something down, than to actually fix it..
I do hope you will stop back periodically and recheck the situation.

Peace and Freedom
John Galt Jr
