It seems in this politically correct world in which we live, that one can not do or say anything, without offending someone.
I have spent the last few years on a very fixed income, so I have been looking for ways to make money, most anyway,
everything helps or does it?

One of the ways I have explored making money was to raise a litter of puppies, so I could sell some small dogs.
Now over the years, I have nearly always had a dog, some came as puppies, most were at least a year or two old before finding
their way into my homes. Some came from shelters, some came from friends, some just showed up on the right day.

The PC people will tell you not to buy from pet stores, because you will get dogs from puppy mills. They say that living in cages
and not being properly socialized ruins these little dogs some how. Which brings us to the dog pounds pre-abused dogs that someone
else was unable to care for... These animals have been beaten, starved, yelled at and kicked around. Nowadays close to half of the
dogs in shelters are some kind of Pit bull mix, (because the owners didn't know how to properly train them and don't trust them)
most of the rest are Jack Russell mixes, (because the owners, don't like to exercise or walk their dogs, are always full of energy).

So this is where the ethically problems arise, Do you want an abused puppy or an abused dog? They say you have to buy from a
registered breeder, because there is no chance that they would abuse any dogs. Right?
So I came to the conclusion, that if I wanted loving, well behaved dogs, that I could raise them from pups and sell well behaved
dogs to the public. There has to be a market for pre-trained little dogs and with "designer dogs" being all the rage, perhaps
I might even make some money along the way.

I already had a male dog, my old dachshund Pee Wee So I got a female
mini poodle puppy from a friend and after training and raising her for a year, I was "blessed" with puppies. Well, I have had
single puppies in the past, six at once is ten times the work. When the time came, I decided that eight dogs were more than I could
handle so I placed ads online to sell my puppies. The first response I got was from some guy who advised me to "fix my bitch" so I
would not have puppy problems. Then I was told about all the online line rules about selling puppies, my ads taken down,
because my puppies, were not pure breds, then another site because they were not really doxie-poos, if their parents didn't have
"proper papers". Someone informed me that it was in bad taste to sell mutts. So many people, so many problems. My puppies were
suffering from doggie racism. One woman said their feet were too big, that they would be big dogs another took one look at
the ten pound mother and said "You said they were little dogs!" Eventually I found home for four of them. I figure with what
I sold them for I made about $20 total (after vet bills and food) for my 12 weeks of work...
