He felt her presence as she neared,
As he looked up at her,
     their eyes made contact,
     those amazing sparkling eyes,
     had entranced him wholly,

     Hi ya bright eyes,
     What's up sailor
     Life sucks
     Surely does

The harmless flirtation, of their relation
had given away to full blown infatuation,

     Their eyes met again,
     and for a moment,
     their souls were joined.
I'm off work for the day,
won't you join me for a drink?

     They left the restaurant together,
     After several drinks,
     they came to the moment,
where their eyes where firmly joined,
     when she quietly mouthed "where"

They rode in her car for an hour or so
     high into the mountains,
     to a cozy cabin resort,
where they went to cabin four,
it had heart upon the door,

A fireplace and a freshly burning log,
took the chill from the room and
told the story of a newly lit flame.

across the room, a steaming pool of water, called to them
They undressed and entered the water,
exploring each others body and soul,
     until the heat took over.

     She said Now, yes now

They laid on the rug in front of the fireplace,
and gazed deeply into each others eyes,

     He kissed again and again
and then he took her, as she yielded
as their glistening wet bodies joined to become one.
and they made love for seemly hours,
     afterwards they showered together,
and then she lead him back to the heart shaped bed,
and she took him as he had never been took before...

      They slept naked together,
until the morn, and then it was sworn,
not to tell a soul, of the forbidden night
      when the time was right
      for two married souls,
      to meet and bond forever,
      over the secret they shared,

      Several days past
      he felt her presence again,
her sparking eyes, met his once again,

      "Hi ya bright eyes"
      "hows life sailor"
      "life sucks"
      "Ya, it does"

      Their words lied that day
      Denying the friends they were,
      when their souls for joined,
      by what might of been.
