My father died recently, but before he died he wrote these words upon paper.
We had not been not close for many years, but I think he would want me to post this.
The time has come and I must go,
to a place I do not know.
My father has gone before me,
and so he is now free.
He will show me the way,
to a place where skies are never gray,
you can be warmed all the entire day.
The sun is bright, shadows never stay.
It is never too late to go away.
